Ebates Bonus Offers and How They Work

Ebates makes a number of different bonus offers available to its members, for a variety of reasons. These include:

  • Bonus offers for making a qualifying purchase with select retailers
  • A Welcome Bonus for new members after making a qualifying purchase
  • Refer-A-Friend bonuses, received after your referral makes a qualifying purchase
  • A First Purchase Bonus for making your first qualifying purchase with the Ebates Cash Back Visa® Credit Card, either with Ebates or anywhere Visa is accepted
  • And many other bonuses

Where to find bonus offers

Most bonuses that are available to you can be found on your “My Account” page on Ebates.com and on the “My Account” tab on the Ebates Mobile App.

On Ebates.com:

  • Click on your name in the green bar at the top of the screen, then click on “My Account” on the left side of the page and scroll down to see your available offers

On the Ebates Mobile App:

  • On the “My Account” tab, click the blue bar at the top of the screen to view “Special Bonus Offers Just for You”

How to redeem bonus offers

Details on how to redeem an available bonus offer (as well as its expiration date) are spelled out with each bonus, but here are some general guidelines:

  • To earn the bonus, you can shop on both Ebates.com and through the Ebates Mobile App
  • Purchases must be made online, unless the offer specifies that the purchase must be made in store with a linked credit card
  • You can make multiple small purchases or one larger purchase in order to trigger a bonus (for example, spend $25 to get a $5 bonus)

“Bonus pending” messages on the Ebates Mobile App

Under “My Account” on the Ebates Mobile App, a “pending bonus” message will appear for bonuses that you are eligible for, even if you haven’t shopped with that store yet. If you do not make a qualifying purchase by the time the bonus offer expires, the pending bonus will disappear.

Making sure you’ve gotten your bonus

Your Cash Bonus will be added to your Cash Back Balance within 1-2 days after your qualifying purchase(s). You may receive an email confirmation from Ebates.

There are two ways you can verify that you’ve received your Cash Bonus:

On Ebates.com:

  • Visit “My Account” > Select “Cash Back Balance” > Look under “Bonuses”

On the Ebates Mobile App:

  • Visit “My Account” > Select “Cash Back Balance” > Look under “Promotions”
